The foot has a wide variety of problems and a Podiatrist can treat a wide range of conditions from skin and nails problems, tissue viability, minor surgery, to musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Below are some top the common foot problems we encounter.

New Patient Assessment £64
( increased to £64 from 1st april 2026, those booked prior to the price increase will remain at £60)
This appointment is for all patients new to clinic wanting to assess treatment for skin and nail issues. Following an assessment a full routine treatment will be carried out if required. Any follow up appointments will be discussed and an appropriate treatment plan put in place. Suitable for nail care, ingrown toenails, fungal infections, corns, callus, cracked heels, verruca. Assessment forms links are sent with the booking confirmation email. Please complete any forms prior to the appointment to allow for enough time for treatment required.

Routine Appointment £48
For patients who have completed a New patient assessment and wish regular follow appointments for nail care, treatment for corns and callus ect.

Short Appointment £30
For patients who have completed a New patient assessment. Usually for simple nail care or a single problem requiring a shorter appointment slot. This can only be booked if the Podiatrist has advised at at previous appointment it is suitable.

For those who have completed a New Patient Assessment and require a longer routine appointment for multiple foot problems.

Verruca Treatments £60
Following a New Patient Assessment, various treatments will be discussed and the best treatment decided on. Prices will vary for each patient and treatment plan. Treatments include debridement of the Verruca tissue, application of caustics. Options include including Verrutop, salicylic acid, and silver nitrate. For stubborn verruca there is the option of a surgical procedure known as Needling.

Advanced Fungal Infection treatment £60
Following a new patient assessment various treatment option are available for fungal infections, including Prescription of Medicated Nail lacquer, Nail fenestration and other methods.
We can also carry out fungal nail testing for an extra charge using Dermatophyte tests which are carried out in clinic with no need for lab testing necessary. It can detect 99% of all common fungal infections with results in 5 minutes.

Minor Surgery - Prices vary
Each surgery package includes follow up after care.
Nail Surgery from £295
Nail surgery is a minor surgical procedure to remove all or part of your toenail, using local anesthetic. It is usually required when an in-growing toenail is frequently recurring. We can treat the nail bed with a chemical called Phenol to stop the nail form growing back. If new to the clinic, to access please book a New patient appointment.
Verruca Needling from £250
Verruca needling is a technique that is used to treat long standing and persistent verrucae. It is around 70% effective which is more effective than other first line treatments such as topical acids and cryotherapy. Using Local Anesthetic the Verruca is punctured repetitively to activate the bodies immune response. If new to the clinic, to access please book a New patient appointment. Pain & Injury New Patient £90
For New patients with lower limb joint and foot pain/injury. Suitable for suspected Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendinopathy, muscle and joint pain.
Treatments include: Exercise prescription, joint manipulation, massage, Dry needling/acupuncture, footwear advice and orthotics/insoles. If functional orthotics or insoles are recommended, prices will vary depending on device. We can recommend off the shelf orthotics, semi bespoke and custom made devices.
Biomechanical Assessment for foot pain & Injury, including Gait Analysis Footscan £120
For New patients with joint and foot pain who require assessment of the joints of the lower limb and their Biomechanics. With this option we use Gait and motion Footscan technology to scan the foot. A treatment plan will be put in place.
Treatments include: Exercise prescription, joint manipulation, massage, Dry needling/acupuncture, footwear advice and orthotics/insoles. If functional orthotics or insoles are recommended, prices will vary depending on device. We can recommend inexpensive off the shelf orthotics, semi bespoke mid price options from Dola, and custom made devices. Using the Footscan we are able to custom design Phits orthotics. Phits custom orthotics prices start from £300 per pair.
Musculoskeletal Review & Rehabilitation £60
For those who have completed a new patient assessment and require a follow up appointment, further rehabilitation or orthotic prescription.
Home Visits from £45
***Currently home visits are at capacity and there are no current plans to take on new visits***
Covering the Aboyne, Banchory, Ballater area. Visits can be made to Aboyne Hospital. Prices for visits will vary depending on geographical location. Call out fees for home visits are as follows:

Please note home visits are very difficult to facilitate so we recommend where possible to book an appointment at clinic. It is also better for patients and easier and safer for clinicians to have access to all the equipment required for Podiatric care. Visits are only for housebound patients who cannot travel to clinic.
